Introducing Eat Well, Live Well, LLC.
Get individualized nutrition therapy in person, or from the comfort of your home. We are a trauma informed, weight neutral, ability sensitive place for healing your relationship with food.
Our approach
Eat Well, Live Well, LLC. is a client centered nutrition therapy practice. We use principles of intuitive eating and embodiment to support your needs. All bodies, regardless of size, shape, or ability, are worthy of nourishment. Today it is hard to live in a body that doesn’t meet the expectations of our culture. So, it makes sense that people use coping strategies such as restriction, bingeing, excessive exercise, or emotional eating to feel safer. Sometimes these coping strategies are harmful to our bodies or to our relationships. Know that this is a weight neutral space. We believe in size diversity, that weight does not dictate health, and that trying to control our bodies does not work. At Eat Well, Live Well, we will treat you and your body with respect and kindness and help you do the same.

Sarah McAllister MS, RD, LDN
Hi, welcome. I’m glad you are here. If you are reading this, you are looking for help with how you eat, and how you feel in your body. My style is slow, thoughtful, and client focused. I feel that it is not my job to tell you what to do, but to really listen and help you care for yourself in the way you want. You will not be judged here, and I take your privacy and safety very seriously. It is my goal to be sure that you feel heard and supported in this space.
I received my master’s in nutrition science from Boston University, and I also hold a bachelor’s in Music from NYU. Singing informs my understanding and expression of embodiment. I have been in private practice, treating eating disorders, since 2008.
When not at work, I am usually outside with my family skiing, swimming, fishing, and biking. I find joy and calm snuggling my dog and cat while knitting on the couch.

“Working with Sarah feels safe, accepting, and nonjudgmental. Sarah definitely focuses on the well-being of the whole person and on helping you continue to dismantle the damage that diet culture has done. Sarah has also been a wealth of helpful resources for me in finding body neutral social media and navigating weight stigma that exists in the medical world. I greatly value the time that I can spend with her and her level of expertise.”
— Julie, current client
‘My experience working with Sarah over the past year has been nothing short of life-changing. For almost thirty years I have engaged in harmful disordered eating behaviors and body image issues. Ever since I reached the point of wanting to heal and recover, Sarah has been there for me. She is patient, caring, and knowledgeable. Sarah is helping me to peel away the layers of restrictive eating, shame, and guilt in order to make space for me to build self-compassion and trust. I truly believe I am on the right path to having a peaceful and compassionate relationship with food and with my body.’
